A clear, popular southeast-Missouri Ozark float river below the St. Francois Mountains. The Lesterville reach (above Clearwater Lake) is a summer-float hotspot with gravel bars and bluffs; below Clearwater Lake the river becomes a dam-influenced lower reach toward Poplar Bluff. Multi-fork headwaters (East/Middle/West Forks) converge near Lesterville.
