DetailsOff Highway 19, approximately 1.5 miles south of the Round Spring bridge. Watch for the turnoff on the east side of Highway 19 — it’s easy to miss. A short gravel road leads down to the campground. The turn comes shortly after crossing the Sinking Creek bridge on Highway 19.
DetailsNPS gravel parking area with two designated lots totaling approximately 20 spaces (10 standard + 2 at the restroom). Boulders block vehicle access to the gravel bar — boats must be carried from parking to the water.
AmenitiesNPS backcountry campground: 8 designated campsites, each with picnic table, fire ring grill, and lantern post. Vault toilet. $10/night per site (as of 2022). No reservations — first-come, first-served. Stays limited to 14 days, max 6 people, 2 tents, and 2 vehicles per site. No water, no trash service — pack in/pack out. A general store with supplies, beverages, and hot showers has historically operated nearby (verify current status). Large gravel bar for swimming and sunbathing where Sinking Creek meets the Current River.
